Your First Visit

At your first appointment, we focus on getting to know you and your oral health so we can provide the best possible care.

Your visit will begin with a friendly discussion about your dental history, any concerns you may have, and what you would like to achieve with your dental health and smile. This helps us tailor your care to your individual needs.

We will then carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health. During this assessment we check for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, bite issues, and any other conditions that may require attention.

If clinically indicated, dental X-rays may be taken to give us a more detailed view of areas that cannot be seen during the examination. These X-rays are provided free of charge as part of your first visit if they are required.

After your examination, we will explain our findings clearly and discuss any recommended treatments or preventive care. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and we will work with you to create a personalised treatment plan if needed.

Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident about your dental care from the very first visit.

Dental Emergencies

If you require an appointment for a dental emergency, our team will do everything we can to see you as quickly as possible and help relieve your pain or discomfort.

Dental emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and we understand how distressing they can be. Whether you are experiencing tooth pain, have a lost filling, a broken tooth, or a lost crown, we will do our best to provide prompt care and get you out of trouble.

During your emergency visit, our priority is to diagnose the problem and stabilise the situation. This may involve relieving pain, repairing or replacing a restoration where possible, or providing temporary treatment to protect the tooth.

In some situations, fully resolving the issue may require more than one appointment. If this is the case, we will explain the situation clearly and arrange any further treatment needed to restore your dental health.

Our goal is always to get you comfortable as quickly as possible and provide the most appropriate treatment for your situation.

If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please contact the practice and our team will arrange an appointment at the earliest available time.
